Mr U 2021

 I first decided to seek the help of Amy because my eating habits had become out of control. I was eating the wrong types of food and way to much of it. I'd tried every other way to manage my habits and I got stuck in to the habit of binge eating. Amy at U2U is just around around the corner from me so I thought, 'Hey, ill go there! Once I found out it was online I was initially sceptical but because Amy was so friendly, I decided to give it a go. Immediately I felt comfortable and relaxed. We had three sessions about a week between each. After each session, I felt incredible peace although, after the second session, I  felt so much joy I could have hugged her! I was eating so many sweets and chocolate before our time that I was so bloated and feared an early grave. After the very first session, I had stopped eating sweets and chocolate. I was drinking more water and that feeling of being bloated went away. I am looking better and feeling better, I can actually tighten my belt a bit tighter. I would highly recommend Amy and have done so already to my friends an family. I would certainly work with Amy again in the future on other matters.

I reached out to Amy for help after suffering from a phobia of choking which came about quite suddenly 4 months back. I was really struggling to eat and drink and I had tried talking therapy which didn’t work for me as my body was just stuck in fear mode and my throat would freeze up every time I tried to eat,  Amy tailored each session to my specific issues working with the subconscious mind and using various techniques to help me to overcome this phobia. Over the three sessions, I noticed my throat tension significantly reducing and the intense anxiety I felt between and during meals dissipating. I feel that the sessions significantly helped me in taking positive steps forward in overcoming this phobia. I would recommend Amy as she is passionate about what she does and she genuinely cares about helping her clients. Thank you

Amy's approach to coaching and hypnosis is very calming. Actually done over zoom was probably more relaxing as I was in the comfort of my own home. She definitely helped me with finding some tools to focus my mind a lot more. A lot of thought processes within my own subconscious have changed and its interesting to see them when they kick in. Amy helped me stop smoking by using her hypnosis and eye movement therapies, I have found the sessions to be stress free and really insightful.

Amy explains what she is doing at every step and I have felt safe, happy and in control through every part of the process.

As well as being able to help me to realize how to stop smoking Amy has worked with me on some anxiety issues that I feel better in control of now.

I would highly recommend Amy in any form of coaching, she worked with my daughter to overcome some anxieties that she was having.
Amy made her feel at ease immediately, they talked about how to deal with her feelings and to be in control of your own emotions.

Amy is the best therapist I have ever worked with.
I had eating disorder for nearly two decades, issues with anxiety, anger, low self esteem and self sabotaging... I guess a list of all possible issues that you can think of!  Yet after three sessions with Amy I am a transformed woman. I was a challenging client and had several tantrums however Amy kept me going her services went beyond just a session. I could reach out at anytime again and again. Some sessions were  challenging and the after effects was confusing and sometimes they did not make sense, however it all falls in place. You have to be willing to make the change though. Amy provides all the tools and instructions so just trust it and go with it and like me, you will change Your life.
I have learned so much from Amy she isn't a typical therapist, she is also now a friend.

I came to Amy for help with generalised anxiety which I was finding overwhelming. I found hypnosis helpful for adjusting some of the more unconscious thought processes which were causing my anxiety or how it manifested, and coaching was helpful for reframing some negative thoughts into more positive ones. I decided on hypnotherapy after a work colleague suggested it and personally recommended Amy. I did not regret my decision and felt the benefits after my first session. Amy has taught me very simple techniques that help me in my day to day life when feeling stressed or anxious. Amy's coaching has changed our lives, in just three online sessions. As parents we worry everyday, even more so when our children have mental health issues.

We have been given the tools to deal with difficult situations, where anxiety would normally peak. My son now feels confident that he is normal and not different to everybody else, this is milestone I never thought he'd make. Amy is a healer , and a person I would absolutely recommend. 

I was initially apprehensive about opening up and discussing the issues I was struggling with. I needn't have worried, Amy immediately put me at ease, she used a technique called IEMT as a strategy of compartmentalising and reprogramming my thoughts. Prior to my first session I had no preconceptions as this is something I have never accessed before.
Amy made me feel instantly at ease. The sessions were tailored to my own needs. 


Throughout the sessions Amy used a number of techniques, one of which included, eye movement therapy. This was very insightful and helped me to think about stress triggers in my past and how to re-train my mind/thoughts.

I have left my sessions feeling totally relaxed and more in tune with what my mind and body needs. I feel I have learnt new strategies to assist me with improving my emotional wellbeing.

Eye movement therapy, I actually can't remember what traumatic memory or circumstance of mine Amy used this technique for! I know it sounds crazy but I cannot remember. I can remember the session but cant remember the memories I had to picture and think of. I had a basic and very quick session so it proves to me its powerful stuff! I would recommend anyone who has PTSD to contact Amy about this as its becoming one of the best psycho therapies available.

Why did I choose to book an appointment with Amy?

Several aspects in my life had changed and I felt completely lost and unsure how to move forward. I felt rooted to the spot. I understood that I needed to change my mind set but had completely no idea how to achieve it or even if this was possible. I wanted to improve my future self, and not repeat old habits.

 

I had five sessions with Amy (spanning over 5 months). All sessions were tailor made to me, she used different techniques and exercises – not all of them made sense at the time – but she assured me they would with time, and they did. Some made sense days later and some are working their magic now, and I have no doubt that these are lifelong lessons.

 

“Sometimes I wake up and I have to remind myself: “There is nothing wrong with me. I have patterns to unlearn, new behaviours to embody and wounds to heal. But there is nothing wrong with the core of me and who I am. I am unlearning generations of accumulated harm and I am remembering love. It takes time.”

 

Not all the sessions are easy, they aren’t meant to be, but all I would say is go with it, embrace it and you will get the most amazing outcomes.

 

Now, I can’t promise you Amy will make you richer, thinner, have amazing eye brows or have flawless dance moves!!! But she will re-ignite YOU.
